Seeking to serve like Jesus
Jesus was the greatest servant of all. We seek to become more like him.
Some ways we serve are:
Food Pantry
An expression of the Geauga Hunger Task Force, the Food Pantry is open three days a week and assists more than 60 households a month. Volunteers help to stock shelves, organize donations, and serve our neighbors who come in for groceries. to help with the Food Pantry, contact Beth Bouchek.
Drive-Thru Dinner, 3rd Thursdays, 6-7pm
Sometimes we all feel strapped––for money, time, or energy to make a meal. The Drive-Thru dinner is a free meal for any that would welcome it, for any reason. Helpers assemble meals in the kitchen and assist with orders for those who come by.
Community Building Use
We love to open our building to community groups that are doing good in our neighborhood. We provide meeting space for Scouts, recovery groups, and clubs. Starting in September 2023, Community Preschool will house its program in our facility.
Clothing Donation
We partner with St. Pauly Textile to receive useable clothing donations from our neighbors. The items receive go to people in need of clothing across the U.S. and around the world. In 2022, our clothing shed received 20,784 pounds of clothing––enough to clothe 3,829 people across globe.
